Creating an ImageJ Macro to Automatically Determine the Nuclear: Cytoplasmic Florescent Intensity Ratio of YAP in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

My project contributes to the study of the protein, Yes-associated Protein (YAP), and its role in cardiovascular disease, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). I finalized a script to analyze protein appearance and localization, which determines activity levels (Nuclear vs Cytoplasmic). This code enables a more efficient, faster, and unbiased batch quantification to track protein localization and measure the intensity of proteins, such as YAP, within the nucleus and cytoplasm over time.
